24mm SynBad Synthetic Knot

Please note: This is the listing for a shaving brush handle only. If you want to purchase complete brush, please add shaving brush knot to your order.

The claymore is a massive two-handed sword used by Scottish Highlanders from the late Middle Ages into the 17th century. Its name comes from the Gaelic claidheamh mòr, meaning “great sword”.

The shaving brush handle is crafted from beautiful hand-poured bronze coloured resin.

This handle was specially made to fit 24mm Semogue Finest Two Band Badger knot. I've long admired the craftsmanship of Semogue brushes from Portugal. This family-owned workshop has been creating exceptional shaving brushes since 1955 in the town of São João da Madeira, Portugal's traditional center of brush making. I've been honoured with the possibility of using their premium badger knots in my own creations. This collaboration allows me to combine their generations of Portuguese brush-making expertise with my handles.

Handle height: 82mm
Handle diameter: 44mm at the widest point
Knot socket diameter: 25mm
Knot socket depth: 16mm
